Join Global Ties San Francisco for a free community social hour and networking event with special guests from India nominated by the U.S. Department of State to participate in its premier professional exchange program, the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about us and discover how you can get involved in international diplomacy right here in our community. This event is designed to introduce you to our work, share our global engagement opportunities, and build connections through meaningful conversations over delicious food.

Special Guests: AI leaders advancing strategic technology cooperation
Through this event, you will be able to engage with our current IVLP delegation Driving Mutually Beneficial U.S.-India Collaboration on AI, consisting of AI and critical technology leaders from India.
Their work supports the U.S.-India TRUST (Transforming the Relationship Utilizing Strategic Technology) initiative to strengthen technology supply chains and advance critical and emerging technologies in areas like defense, AI, semiconductors, quantum, biotechnology, energy, and space.
About Us
A community-based nonprofit and partner of the U.S. Department of State, Global Ties San Francisco engages in international diplomacy at the local level to promote peace and cross-cultural understanding.
Each year, we welcome 700 current and future world leaders and changemakers to the San Francisco Bay Area on international exchange programs and engage hundreds more volunteers in community service to support this work. These Citizen Diplomats who help power our work are civic and business leaders, athletes, scientists, educators, students, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home parents, and more.

Global Ties San Francisco invites members of the community to serve as citizen ambassadors of American hospitality, connection, and goodwill.
