Following her initial time here, Karin gained additional experience as a Digital Communications Intern at World Resources Institute, contributing to impactful environmental and policy initiatives. She also served as a Career Connections Intern with Global Ties U.S., where — in a true full circle moment — she supported our Career Connections San Francisco event last September!

Her academic and professional journey reflects her passion for exploring the intersections of global affairs and economics, with a focus on how economic policies shape international trade, development, and sustainability. Karin is dedicated to building a career that promotes international cooperation and drives equitable economic growth.

“What I am most looking forward to during this internship is contributing to public diplomacy work in the San Francisco Bay Area and connecting with professionals passionate about Citizen Diplomacy.”

Outside of her professional pursuits, Karin is an avid traveler and language enthusiast who enjoys road trips and immersing herself in diverse cultures. These experiences broaden her perspectives, deepen her understanding of international relations, and reinforce her commitment to fostering meaningful global networks.

Welcome (back) to the intern team, Karin!
